Humaira: The Dream Catcher

Humaira: The Dream Catcher celebrates the achievements of Humaira Bachal, an activist from Karachi who fights for girls’ education. Working out of Muwach Goth, Humaira has singlehandedly educated over 1200 students at the nominal fee of 1 rupee per day. The film serves as a tribute to her personal struggles and shares her vision for the future of her organization, The Dream Foundation Trust.

An in-depth look at Humaira’s life and work can be found via a recent feature in The Economist‘s ‘Intelligent Life‘ series.

Note: The Dream Foundation Trust is not affiliated with Hoshyar. The work depicted in the film, while closely aligned to our own vision, does not depict Hoshyar-supported schools or projects.
